Support for finding employment

If you need guidance for career planning or finding employment, we also offer a number of services for all ages. We offer support for finding employment, choosing a career and advancing your career plans both in Finnish and English. Our services include career coaching and workshop activities, for example.

One-stop guiding services for employment and education – Vaikuttamo

Our career coaches provide support with finding a job. Career guidance provides guidance and coaching for planning a new career, regardless of whether you are unemployed, employed or a student. We will tell you about the different options that can help you clarify your career choice or advance your employment, for example.

At Vaikuttamo, you can also find the services of Ohjaamo intended for those under the age of 30.

Liito workshops in construction and instruction

People interested in the field of education and instruction and the methods of school youth work can apply for a work try-out, after which the work can be accredited towards a degree.

The workshop in the fields of construction offers 16–29-year-olds the opportunity to complete a part of a degree and try out a job. Available fields: construction, surface finishing and industrial painting, interior design, property maintenance and gardening.

Vocational workshop cafés Cooperin kulma and Manor Café

The vocational workshop cafés provide Järvenpää residents of all ages with experience in working in the kitchen and restaurant industry.

Some of the employees are students in the field and others are looking for experience to find employment in the open labour market more easily. The workshop café is also suitable for those who are rehabilitating into working life.
